Letters to My Younger Self
Sometimes there are words we needed to hear,
feelings we needed to express, and parts of
ourselves we needed to understand.
This is a quiet space to write those words.
Give your younger self a voice.
Writing to your inner child can be a way of acknowledging what you experienced, what you needed, and what you want that younger version of yourself to know today.
Write with care
Write to your younger self from the perspective of the adult you are today — offering the care, reassurance and understanding you wish they had received.
Tell the truth
Give yourself permission to express the things that were difficult to say. Your letter does not need to be polished, perfect or carefully worded.
Take your time
There is no correct way to write your letter. Pause when you need to. Let the words come naturally and allow yourself the space to reflect.
“You don't have to change what happened. You can begin by changing the way you speak to the person who lived through it.”

My dear Childhood, You are good!
There are words only you can write.
You don't need a perfect story. You don't need perfect words. Just begin where you are.
